Jon Batiste to launch first-ever headlining tour

Jon Batiste will launch his first-ever headlining tour, dubbed the Uneasy Tour: Purifying The Airwaves For The People. The tour will visit intimate theaters across North America and Canada, kicking-off at Portland, OR’s Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in February with stops at The Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA, The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA, The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, Massey Hall in Toronto, ON, The Beacon Theatre in New York, NY, and ACL Live in Austin, TX.

Batiste is also the subject of a new documentary from Matthew Heineman, American Symphony, which will debut on Netflix in partnership with Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground on November 29th. The film follows Batiste as he celebrates his 11 nominations at the 2022 Grammy, while also dealing with the return of his wife’s long-dormant cancer. Watch the official movie trailer – here.
